Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Softball AI Trainer account and its associated data at any time. Deleting from inside the app takes effect immediately and cannot be undone; the records that survive are listed under “What is retained” below.

Delete from inside the app (fastest)

1. Open Softball AI Trainer and sign in.
2. Go to Profile → Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm. You may be asked to verify your sign-in (Google or password) — this protects your account from being deleted by someone else using your phone.

Request deletion without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, email us from the address associated with your account:

support@softballaitrainer.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request.” We verify the request against the account email and complete deletion within 30 days, with a confirmation reply when it is done.

What gets deleted

• Your sign-in account (Google or email) and profile
• All athlete profiles you created
• All analysis history, scores, keyframes, badges, and streaks stored on your device
• Usage counters stored in our cloud database
• Parental-consent invitations you created (coach accounts) and any Coach Jodi responses you reported
• Your subscription record with our subscription-management provider (RevenueCat). Google Play remains the seller and biller. Google Play keeps its own purchase history under Google's policies; cancel any active subscription in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions before deleting your account so you are not billed again.

What is retained, and why

• Parental-consent records — retained for up to three (3) years after account deletion to demonstrate COPPA compliance, then deleted (these contain the consent grant itself, not your athlete's videos or analysis results).
• Parent sign-in records — created when a parent grants consent on our website; kept for as long as the related consent record is kept, then deleted.
• Crash data — de-identified crash reports tied to a random app identifier age out under Firebase's retention schedule (approximately 90 days). We collect no usage analytics.
• Google Play purchase history — Google Play, not us, is the seller and biller; it keeps its own purchase records under Google's policies, which we do not control.

Your practice videos never left your device in the first place — analysis runs entirely on your phone — so there is no cloud video library to delete. See our Privacy Policy for details.
